Family portrait session (Colleen, Mike, V, + F) – Winchester, MA

Those curls! Her big sister loves her curls so much, she’s constantly playing with her little sister’s hair, gently elongating each curl + letting it spring up back into place. Apparently, her hair has even earned her a nickname (“Curls”). Oh, how I loved photographing these girls – they have such beautiful spirits; you can see it in their eyes – even when they are crying. Not to fear, though, a few moves of the “Macarena” is all it takes for the tears to melt away. And sweet big sister, I seem to remember similar tears from when you were this age. Now you are the one to comfort + console. My heart…

Colleen + Mike, what a gift to be able to see you all again even in the craziness of this year. Thank you, thank you!

Family portrait session (Tracey, Chris, O, + J) – Winchester, MA

These little dynamic personalities are busting out of these two cuties. It seems they are 100% sure of the things they want to do + are determined to make those things happen. You go, girls! Your strong drive for independence + confidence will take you far.

Tracey + Chris, bravo on surviving this crazy year! Thanks so much for trusting me to capture your littles once again.

Family portrait session (Lynn, David, A + W) – Lexington, MA

Running, racing, rock climbing. These two go-getters were seemingly full of energy that came from a bottomless pit! They did take time to stop and check out the tall grass and… of course, say hello to the sheep. For some reason, when the sheep didn’t return the greeting, little W fell into pieces and oh, did my heart break. Those giant tears!

Lynn and David, it was so good to see you all again! Kudos to you both for finding the silver lining during the pandemic. This year, I’m especially grateful for your trust in capturing your your family!

Extended family portrait session – Cape Cod

Lauren wasn’t sure their family trip to the Cape was going to happen this summer given ALL of the craziness of the year. But they managed to pull it off – Lauren, Tim, + their little, grandparents, sister + husband – they all got together and shared their love for the Cape and each other, keeping in tradition with what they’ve done over the course of many years. What a great way to mark your special time together. Thank you for sharing your morning with me!

Family portrait session (Ashley, Stefan, + the three Ws) – Beverly, MA

Oh, I feel like I owe this site a bit of love after basically shutting down for about 3 months! It feels like coming up for air a bit.

But to begin, I wanted to post from my first shoot in a long time. It was SO nice to get back out there after being in lockdown from the pandemic for nearly 3 months. These three little ones were just the remedy for feeling like life was never going to be normal again. Thanks, Ashley and Stefan, for braving the big outdoors with me!
