Family portrait session (Cara, Dick, N, & J) – Winchester, MA

The weather was so up and down the day of this session we weren’t entirely sure we’d be able to pull it off. But the sun peaked through the clouds and we were able to enjoy the warm fall afternoon at a pond nearby. I’m totally aging myself here, but I’ve known Cara for over 10 years now (!), and while we don’t see each other often, I feel like I get enough updates on her kids that I shouldn’t have been so surprised to see how grown up they have become.  It’s *crazy* how fast that happened (and I just saw them last summer). After we got some more formal portraits done, they each posed with a prop that spoke to who they are and what they like to do; such a fun idea to mark this point in time in their lives. They even made sure to have a prop for their dog!

Cara and Dick, so nice to see you all again. Thanks so much for sharing your afternoon with me.
