Family portrait session (Colleen, Mike, & V) – Brookline, MA

Something about the way she ran up and down the hill, twirling along with her curls flowing behind her, made me feel like we were on set for the “hills are alive” scene from the “Sound of Music” (even though Julie Andrews had short hair). Her sidekick, Charlie, was more than happy to run along side her. She is just about three now and it’s clear she is the apple of her parents’ eye. She’s also a riot. About three-quarters of the way through the session, she wanted to search for foxes. Now, I consider myself a fairly brave person, but I can’t say that I’ve ever had the desire to come face to face with a fox (outside of a zoo).

Happy birthday, sweet V. Colleen and Mike, perhaps she’ll settle for a stuffed animal for her birthday? So good to see the three of you again!
