Newborn session (Liz, Kristoff, & J) – Newton, MA

She was sound asleep when I arrived, looking so peaceful and happy. She stayed asleep for just a little while longer and then she was up – and hungry! Between the breaks for feeding, baby J was happy just to be held and made it clear that she didn’t want to be put down (reminded me so much of my first). We eventually made our way outside for some fresh air which sweet J seemed to enjoy. Liz and Kristoff, congratulations on your little bundle! Wishing you lots of sleepy snuggles and an enjoyable holiday with your family.

Maternity session (Ashley & Stefan) – Newburyport, MA

If you’re already a parent, you know that there are hazy, lovely memories of the time before children. Times when you could take a stroll without worrying about the bottle/swaddle/diaper (or the older version: books/stuffed animals/toys). For Ashley and Stefan, they decided to document some of this time and revisited the spot where they were married, take a little walk through town, and stop for a coffee along the way. They were able to chat leisurely, take in some sights, and ponder what lies ahead in the coming weeks. Thanks so much, you two, for an enjoyable morning. Wishing you lots of luck with the much anticipated event – and I’m not talking about anything holiday-related! I can’t wait to meet your new little one!

Family portrait session (Maggie, Victor, R, & M) – Winchester, MA

What I would do to understand the cute little Russian words that R says! His looks are completely coy and slightly mischievous, his curly hair is 100% adorable. And he loves his baby sister and her delicious cheeks, coming to sit by her on his own terms, of course. Sweet M’s scrumptious face and pursed lips created this look of curiosity that I can’t even explain. Maggie and Victor, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful family once again. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and lots of snuggles throughout the winter.

Family portrait session (Christen, Steve, N, & O) – Lincoln, MA

I’ve been lucky enough to have known these little nuggets for years now and somehow, I feel like each time I see them is even better than the last; this session was no exception. They crack me up with their humor, their energy, and their sparkling spirit. Their smiles and giggles warm my heart.
