Oh, sweetness – Winchester, MA

From the moment I walked in the door, little J was super-unsure of how he felt about me being there. He had a few shining moments where I could see that sweet personality starting to shine through, but then he would remember that he wasn’t sure about being photographed that particular morning. Suzanna and Nick rolled with it as best they could and as a last ditch effort, we made our way to a local park to see if that might help. He beamed on the swing and made great truck noises as he repeated “big truck” again and again. He even had a chance to walk along a little bridge. And then…he remembered he wasn’t so sure about this whole thing. All in all, though, we were able to capture those moments when he was so immersed in what he was doing, that his little face cracked a smile and made us all melt just a bit. Thanks, Suzanna and Nick, for hanging in there!

[…] he was not so sure about me or my cameras. Really, he didn’t want anything to do with me (though we managed to get some cute ones of him regardless). Now, we’re buddies. Now, he will jump over on demand with all his might to show me how high […]
