Spring, and baby W, have arrived! When I first met Sarah and Mike, it was cold and snowy. The park benches were more like a part of the ground made possible by the feet of snow cover we had. And baby W was still growing, waiting for just the right moment to brave it on the outside. Now, the temperatures are (ever so) slowly creeping up, the snow is gone, and little W has been getting to know his lucky parents. He is already super expressive (note his wake-up routine below), and has been described as an “alert baby,” a.k.a. one that might enjoy being awake more than asleep. Regardless of his sleep pattern, he was a super star during our time together. Sarah, motherhood seems to suit you quite well and Mike, take note of how fast he grows out of being able to fit in one of your hands. These are special days; I hope you enjoy them even when he is “alert.”
