Twin cuteness – Boston, MA

Holy twin cuteness, Batman. I’ve known Little O and Little N for almost 2 years and each time we do a shoot, they just get more and more animated and are so much fun to watch. They definitely keep their sweet parents busy, often going in opposite directions and showing early signs of being independent thinkers!

Little N tends to be the serious character, taking in the environment bit by bit, but he beamed this killer smile as he was pretending a stick was a slithering snake.

His sister seems to be comfortable wherever she goes and will smile at the drop of a hat, though I love this sweet little smirk she gave looking oh-so-innocent!

This shoot was especially meaningful because this is where Christen and Steve had their wedding photos taken. In particular, they remember the arch of this tree where we took advantage of a small sliver of shade for a few shots.

Anyone with twin toddlers knows how tricky it can be to get a photo of both kids together. We all worked hard for this one, but I think it was worth it.

Christen and Steve, thank so much for yet another fun shoot! I love seeing how their little personalities are emerging and am so touched that you’ve trusted me the past two years to capture exactly that.

An oasis in Arlington

The first heat wave of the summer hit us early this year. And this family trudged through the 95 degree heat and humidity for this shoot. Luckily, the location offered a little reprieve in the way of a fountain with a walkable path of sorts. Little O was a trooper, of course, and didn’t seem the least bit fazed by the weather. And her parents were good sports about it as well.

At my last session with little O a year ago, she seemed so little – and now all of a sudden she’s gotten SO big! I could hardly believe my eyes. She is a little bit of a serious character, but there’s an equally sweet and silly side to her given the time to warm up.

Notice the super cute, super tiny pink painted toe nails? (I secretly, and sometimes not so secretly, love painted toddler toes!)

Such a lovely, lovely family!

I just loved all of the green around us. So, so pretty.

Thanks so much for braving the elements, K and J! I loved seeing you guys and especially loved seeing how much O has grown and changed since last year.

And (another) baby makes four

I first met this sweet family last fall; little did I know that not long from then, they would be adding another little boy to the mix! I was thrilled to be able to meet tiny W at only 3-weeks old and of course, see big brother, J, once again.

This little guy just *loved* sticking his tongue out even though he had just been fed.

J was such a willing participant when it came time to hold his baby brother. He was also happy to don his fireman outfit.

Little W was a rock star! He stayed awake the entire session and seemed to be so content.

Thanks so much for the privilege of meeting your newest bundle and having some fun with you all.

Alison & Craig, may you have 4-hour chunks of sleep, lots of snuggles, and a Houdini-proof swaddle technique. Click here for the complete gallery (password required; please contact the family or me if interested).
